Dino Carnage
First-person co-op survival horror for 1–8 players. Work together to stay alive. Steam Early Access, October 30, 2026.
Short description
The staff of ZenGen's island research facility have turned. The dinosaurs are immune: wild, dangerous, and company property. Up to eight players take ZenGen's contracts, dropped in by sky-crane with a huge armoured rig to rescue survivors, clear facilities, sample the animals and recover data. Work together to stay alive.
Long description
Something went wrong at ZenGen's island research facility. The staff turned. The dinosaurs, bred and owned by the company, are immune: wild, hungry, and still on the books. ZenGen's answer is you.
Dino Carnage is a first-person co-op survival-horror game for one to eight players over Steam. Pick a contract on a voxel map of the island. The sky-crane drops your crew and the rig into the level. Do the job, and the helicopter lifts you out. ZenGen credits your crew in work credits, and takes your haul.
There are 17 contracts in four kinds. Find staff hiding out on the island and bring them home. Clear a facility yard of the turned. Dart an animal and take a DNA sample without killing it, the rex included. Pull the CCTV drives from facility terminals. Work credits are the score: earn enough and ZenGen clears you for contracts further in, tier by tier, deeper into the island.
The rig is your mobile base, one armoured vehicle that carries over from job to job, repaired and recharged. By the door: the armoury and a tool rack. Mid-rig: jump seats under the LED mission board. At the back: the lab bench with its sequencer and fabricator, the cold store, and the reprinter that prints fallen crew back. Up top, a roof deck for gunners and a rack for storage crates.
The island's facilities are open to explore, and their power is failing: flickering lamps, dead rooms, and hatches down to basements, cold rooms and vaults where the best loot waits. Fight the turned with real guns, melee weapons and a tranquilizer dart gun. Leave the dinosaurs alone if you can: killing one comes out of your work credits. Salvage wrecks and fences with the repair tool and feed the parts to the fabricator.
Between jobs, the crew waits aboard ZenGen's support ship. Build your character at its wardrobe and wear the clothes you find; each player's guns, pack and clothes are saved on their own machine and come with them into any friend's game. Thirteen emotes, spray paint and a jukebox keep the crew entertained. Carry the camera and film your jobs; the end credits roll your crew's own footage, over an adaptive horror score.
Losses are within tolerance.
